I am doing a simple table with four rows, a title, and a description. The table title appears above the table, and the description appears below. My problem concerns the amount of space between the table title at the top and the table description at the bottom. I have googled this and applied recommended CSS code, but it doesn’t change the spacing.

I am not providing a link since my website is under development using a local host.

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Instead of using the built-in features for printing the table name and description, you could also add those manually in your site’s editor or page builder. This could lead to other, maybe more desirable spacing, or you might be able to adjust the spacing more easily.

Changing the spacing between the native TablePress name and description texts is possible with CSS code, indeed. Unfortunately, without a link to the page with the table, I can’t really tell why the code you tried didn’t work, or which code would work better, as this is also highly dependent on the site’s theme.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
