Spacing between "posted on" and post body changes

  • Just installed the twentyeleven theme; I’m using a child theme to edit css. Not sure why, but the spacing between the title & “posted on” text and the main body of a post is inconsistent in different posts. Here’s a screen grab:

    It seems to be random – some posts have a nice margin like the first post in the image; others look crunched like the second post. I’d prefer everything to look like the top post.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    the top post has the image in a paragraph tag on its own, while the next post has the image in the paragraph with the text;

    possibly happened just by chance in the visual editor, maybe because there was a space or empty line before the image, or ?

    try to use the html setting of the post editor to see if there are any diffferences between the posts, and if you can correct them.

    Yes, you’re right, the posts that look good (bigger margin) have the image tags outside the paragraph – the ones that are crunched have the images inside the paragraph.

    There aren’t any spaces or empty lines before the images that I can tell. It seems to be random.
