[closed] space between content bottom and footer (4 posts)

    Hi all, thanks to "Andrew Nevins" who helped with adjusting the border height area, but I also need to decrease the space between the content bottom and the footer. I could do a css entry like below, and it looks fine, BUT, when i'm editing, it pushes the "edit" word into the header area, so me thinks I'm doing something wrong...

    #main {
    border-bottom: 0;
    height: 600px;

    Unfortunately I can't view your "Edit" link to see how it appears on your site. Could you try putting a top margin on your edit link to move it down out of the header?

    to be honest, i really don't care about the edit word itself, everything else seems fine. I'm just wondering if what i did is "professional" or not.

  4. Hi there, I probably wouldn't put a defined height on your content area as you've done. Could you provide a link to a sample page or post where you want to reduce the space between the content area and the footer so I can have a look?

    On other hand, the Edit link is only visible to logged in site users (such as yourself) so if you're sure that's the only effect it's having, you might not want to worry too much about it.
