[Resolved] Space above header image – remove?!

  • Hi there.
    I’ve been searching quite a bit now, but I cant solve my problem myself:

    My blog, en7oy has, as you can see, it’s own header image. Is it possible to remove the free space above the header image, so the black box with the white ‘en7oy’ moves to the top? It’s cutline theme.

    I would also like it to be named something else than just ‘-‘

    Thanks in advance.

    Kristoffer, denmark

  • Look in your themes style.css file and on line 60 you will see this:

    #masthead h1 { padding: 0.4em 0 0.2em 0; /* border-top: 1px solid #ccc; text-align: */ center; clear: both; }

    Just delete the entire line.

    you’re a legend.
    do you know if i can remove the “front page”-link and maybe move the rss-link somewhere else.
    so the black header will be at the very top of the page…

    thanks again!

    That’s probably coded in your themes index.php file or header.php file. Just open them and look for it to remove it.

    Thanks a heap
