 * I installed WP on a Linux box that’s hosted behind IIS running as a reverse SSL
   proxy.
 * In order to get it working I had to make a bunch of minor code changes to support
   passing through the protocol, port and host (HTTP_X_FORWARDED_).
 * I’d like to submit these changes to the development team, but I’m not interested
   in contributing on any other development.
 * How do I go about that?

 * Give this a read, it’s from the manual for submitting patches to WordPress core.
 * [https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/tutorials/working-with-patches/](https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/tutorials/working-with-patches/)
 * Which will get you a patch to submit to this site.
