 * The embedded Soundcloud widgets at
    [http://heda.org.uk/?page_id=35](http://heda.org.uk/?page_id=35)
   are no longer showing, replaced by code. On the blog [http://heda.org.uk/?page_id=123](http://heda.org.uk/?page_id=123)
   some widgets work, some don’t. I checked that the embed codes are correct. I
   noticed that an automated WordPress 4.7.1 update failed to complete. Is this
   the problem? I use the Twenty Twelve theme with WordPress 4.7. I’ve spent two
   days hunting forums and troubleshooting suggestions but, to be honest, the replies
   mean nothing to me. Any advice on the best course of action for a complete novice
   would be appreciated. Thanks!

 * I’m having the same problem and I’m on 4.7.1
    I haven’t found a fix yet. I am
   also not able to upload .mp3 files on wordpress since the update yesterday.

 * The upload issue is a known bug.

 * I just pasted this into my site and it worked:
 * `[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/301939904" params="auto_play
   =false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&
   visual=true" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /]`
 * Make sure you have Jetpack installed and have enabled shortcode embeds

 * Well, I got as far as making sure I have the latest Jetpack, ready to try to
   follow your advice, [@sterndata](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sterndata/),
   and the widgets seem to have reappeared miraculously! Fingers crossed it’s permanent.
   I’m clicking”resolved.” Thanks and happy new year!
