It seems you’ve visited wpDiscuz Addons demonstration page. wpDiscuz Media Uploader Addon allows to embed SoundCloud URLs.
Yes, that’s correct … I was on the wpDiscuz Media Uploader Add-on demo page. There I was able to post both a Youtube and Vimeo video just by typing-in the URLs. But when I did that with SoundCloud, all that was posted was the URL link.
So I’m wondering what the trick is to get the SoundCloud player to appear?
I plan to purchase the Add-on, but want to make sure it works with SoundCloud.
There is no any trick. That’s URL specific issue, try others.
Well, then it looks like it doesn’t work. I just tried again here by inserting another SoundCloud url:

well, I tried somebody else’s SoundCloud url and it did work. So now I wonder why my SoundCloud files aren’t working?
That’s not wpDiscuz Addon issue. wpDiscuz use built-in WordPress embedding system. It seems some SoundCloud urls are protected. I don’t think this is a bug.
OK, thanks. I’ll get back to you if I’m able to figure out why certain SoundCloud URLs don’t work.
