# Sorting Link Categories

 * Hi Folks,
 * Please be patient with a newbie. If this has been asked before, just point me
   in the right direction, but my searches have not found the right answer.
 * I want to have a categorized list of links on the right hand sidebar. So far,
   so good, WordPress does this very nicely. But, I can’t find anyway to actually
   get the categories ordered in the way that I want them. I suppose I could stick
   a number at the start of each name, but that wouldn’t be very elegant.
 * Getting the links ordered within the categories isn’t the problem I’m looking
   at.
