[Resolved] Sorting kills content

  • As you can see on this page:

    astronomy-
    club.eu
    /calendar/
    upcoming-talks/

(I want to avoid Ulr detection by search engines)
When sorting after the date column, the content goes!
    I used Chrome browser

I tried with other theme – same thing

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

There’s a very simple reason for this and an easy solution: Your table has 20 rows currently, but only six of them have content in them, while the others are empty. When you now sort, the empty cells are simply moved to the beginning of the table, and as you have enabled the pagination feature, you only see the first ten rows (which are empty).
So, to fix this, simply delete the empty rows in the table, by selecting the checkboxes on their left and then using the “Selected rows: Delete” button. Additionally, I recommend to turn off the “Pagination” checkbox for this table, as that’s not really useful on a small table like this.

    Regards,
    Tobias
