    Hey to all,
first of all, this is a great plugin, an I will order the “Search” Plugin as soon as the database is as I need it.
Actually I have one problem. When I crate a new participant in the backend, the sorting of the fields does not fit to the sorting in the “Database Fields” -Section. The the sort order there is properly built, but when I add a new participant in the backend, the sort order there is like:

    Group 1
    Field 3
    Field 1

    Group 2
    Field 2

    Group 1
    Field 4

    Group 3
    Field 1
    Field 4

    Group 2
    Field 3

    etc …
How can I get control over the sorting in the “Create New Participant” in backend?

I do not use any frontend tools, I only need the backend-section of the plugin.

    Thanks for some ideas.

    Best whishes and happy christmas
    Michael

This is puzzling. I can’t duplicate this in my tests. You see some groups are showing up more than once, but with different fields each time?

Normally, of course, the “Add Participant” page is organized by groups, each group appearing once and in the order defined on the “Field Groups” tab. The fields in each group are ordered as they are on the Manage Database Fields page. There aren’t any user controls for changing the order other than how they are ordered where the fields are defined.

Can you provide any more information on how you have your fields and groups configured so I can try to duplicate the issue?

To close this thread: the problem was the group order values needed to be rebuilt. That was done by dragging the groups out of, then back into order on the Manage Database Fields page under the Field Groups tab.
