Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
From what I can see, your theme is not only loading custom CSS styles for the TablePress tables (which is fine, if done correctly), but it’s also turning off the loading of the TablePress default CSS styles (these are what’s adding the sorting icons, for example). Therefore, I suggest to get in touch with your theme’s support team and ask them to not do this.
Before that, please make sure that it’s not another plugin that’s maybe doing this (e.g. by temporarily deactivating all other plugins for a test).

Tobias

Hi Tobias,
thank you very much for your quick response. Regarding the custom CSS I have to put it directly in the theme options otherwise it doesn’t work, I had seen that. I also did the test you recommended and indeed it is a plugin of the theme, so necessary for the functioning, that conflicts with TablePress. Deactivating it I can see the arrows correctly.
Now I have contacted directly the support of the theme and I await their response.
Thanks a lot for the support.

Hi,
yes, the problem with the “Custom CSS” only working in the theme CSS is directly related to this. Something is preventing the loading of the TablePress default and custom CSS.
I hope that the theme support can help!

Hi Tobias,
with the support of the theme we found a “workaround” by inserting arrow icons…
They are now visible at least…
Thanks a lot for the support and I also wanted to tell you that your additional widget (Data tables column filter) works great!

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I was very busy with personal life, so that I could not reply earlier.
Great! Good to hear that the theme support team was so helpful!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
