I read the thread about ordering members and tried changing the posted dates of each member to sort them in the order I want and it doesn’t seem to have any effect. They’re still being listed in the order I entered them.

For a future enhancement, can I suggest that an option to use the Attributes Sort order be added to the short code, and be able to do reverse sort as well?

I want to thank you for writing this plug in. It handles just about everything I needed except for the sort. I’m using it to list the members of our old house club. I put the year of their house in the Attributes Sort field, and I would like to list them in the order of oldest house to newest.

Are you trying to order the “mtphr_members_archive” shortcode? If so you can use the following attributes:

    [mtphr_members_archive order="DESC" orderby="date"]

By default this is set to orderby menu_order and descending. So, you can order the posts using the Order field in the Attributes metabox.

I would suggest installing this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/cms-tree-page-view/ to make manual ordering much easier by using a drag/drop method.
