# Sorta FeedWordPress related…

 * I have all my feedword syndicated posts set so the permalink points to the original
   content, which works perfectly as desired. However, on occasion a feed source
   dies, so the original content is no longer available. I’d like to add a link 
   in the post footer that says something like “Link broken? Read our cached copy
   here” and have it point to my local copy instead. I can’t seem to find the right
   wordpress codex reference to add to my theme to insert the link referenced by
   its post ID instead of permalink. I’m thinking I need to utilize the_ID() somehow,
   but my brain isn’t catching onto exactly how.
 * Anyone feel like feeding an old fart the answer? Thanks 🙂
