# Sort Members

 * HI I saw a topic of sorting the member (about 3 months ago set to resolved)
    
   I have a similar situate where the Chairman, Treasure and Secretary want to be
   on top of the list. Currently the list seems to display by alphabetical names.
   I need the 3 Positions as mentioned on the top You mentioned something about 
   coding the list-board-members.php file. Can you explain how to to sort the Members
   so I can get Chairman, Secretary , Treasure FIRST and then some normal Board 
   Members (not important to sort those) Otherwise this Plugin is just fine Only
   need to be able to sort the members

 * Thanks for reaching out. You can reorder the list of board members manually by
   tapping into the ‘winbm_users_serving’ filter which holds an array of all the
   serving board members. Of course, you’ll need a solid understanding of PHP coding
   and WordPress filters to make this happen.
 * You can currently see the method used to get the board members along with the
   filter by starting at line 773 of the nonprofit-board-management.php file.
