# Sort Categories

 * Hello, I’m setting up a site and have a lot of categories and subcategories, 
   I need a way to re-sort or re-order them, is there a simple tweak that I can 
   add to the code?

 * Hi, you can use a plugin like [https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-taxonomy-ordering/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-taxonomy-ordering/)
   it should allow you to reorder the categories from wp-admin panel using drag 
   and drop interface.
 * The order you will set up in wp-admin should be used in the Category dropdown
   in [adverts_add].
