I have a page with a list of all products using [products ids="all"] – how can I include a “sort by” box above the list so that visitors can sort by price or alphabetically.

This functionality is present when viewing a list of products in a category

Is the only way to do this by adding a category “all”?

    Hi @123host,

You could try using the [product_category] shortcodes instead. However, this will have you specify the categories to pull products from.

    For instance, from this thread:

    [product_category limit=”90″ columns=”3″ category=”hoodies” paginate=”true”]

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thanks for that. Yes, it would work for sure and is a nice solution. But I worked it out by doing as I thought and creating a new category “All Products” and adding them all to it.

The nice thing bonus is that in my sidebar the top category in the list is “All Products”. Lucky I don’t have a category called “Aardvarks” ;o)

Good to hear, that’s a pretty neat workaround!

    Have a good one!
