Possible but not simple. If your name field has both first and last name, it’s going to take some SQL kung-fu.

I’m curious why you would want to sort by name.

I want to use it as a staff directory….

I don’t want to leave you hanging.

While the plugin is flexible (perhaps too much so), I have to restrict support to its use for testimonials. In that context, I don’t see the value in sorting by name.

That said, I love a good experiment. If you want to try a repurposed version for a staff directory, please start a support ticket and describe the features you need and/or other plugins you’ve tried.

Will do – I’d tried several “Directory” plugins but yours looks exactly the way I want it.

Can I let users search testimonials?

They are included in the general search by default. Do you mean a testimonials-only search on your testimonials page?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking. A testimonial only sort on the testimonial page. Almost like a filter I guess

It’s on the to-do list. It will be a premium add-on with search/filter/sort.
