Sort by Date not working properly

Hello,

I am currently displaying a Zotero bibliograpĥy using this shortcode:
[zotpress tag=”Journal Article” years=”2018,2019,2020,2021″ title=”year” sortby=”date” order=”desc” urlwrap=”title” download=”yes” cite=”yes”]

If I remove the years parameter, the dates are sorted properly, in descending order. However, if I set the years parameter with a range, they seem to be sorted in random order (2018, than 2021, and so on), instead of 2021, 2020, 2019… as expected.

It seems like a bug in the plugin at first glance to me, I just wish to be sure it’s not an error in my shortcode.
