Sort by Custom FIelds in Query Wrangler

Hi,

I am currently using Query Wrangler to create a few widgets on the home page of a wordpress application. One of those widgets displays the latest news which is basically the latest 8 posts in the news category. I have a request to add a featured flag which is either yes or no for any new posts. I have handled that with the Custom Field Template plugin. Now the client would like the latest news widget to show the featured stories at the top of the list. Looking through Query Wrangler options I don’t see a way to sort by Meta data. Is there a way to handle this with Query Wranger? If not can someone suggest another plugin?
