Sort and Search Disappeared

My table was working fine…sortable, had the search box, all was well…but now today I noticed that search box and sort are missing. I even built a new table from scratch and have the same problem.

I can see these two lines of code in “view source” and wonder if I need to delete the first line, but they are nowhere in my CSS that I can find:

I’ve gone through all your help files and can’t figure out what to do next. This is also my first WordPress page other than a simple blog, so still trying to learn my way around.
