    Hi there,

This is the common error which comes when the plugin can’t find the active connection.

To fix this first of all please make sure you are on the latest version of the plugin.

    Next follow the steps below.

    1. Go to Easy Social Feed -> Facebook -> Authentication, click on the  trash icon next to “Approved Pages”.

    2. Then go to Easy Social Feed -> Facebook -> Clear Cache and delete all cache stored there.

    3. Now, go to Easy Social Feed -> Facebook -> Authentication and authenticate the pages again.

    4. Finally, reload generate the new shortcode with your specific settings from Easy Social Feed -> Facebook -> How to use it? and replace with the existing one.

I hope this will help! Let me know if it does not.

    Hi,
I don’t have any approved pages to delete, neither cache (Whoops! nothing cached at the moment.)

But as I try to authenticate I keep getting the error “Sorry, Plugin is unable to get the pages data. Please delete the access token and select pages in the second step of authentication to give the permission.”

I can’t connect the page and get any shortcode

    Hello there!

It looks like you are stuck on authentication step. In this case, we need to debug deeper, first please run a plugin and theme conflict test.

Please deactivate other plugins first and then authenticate it again. If it works, then activate each plugin one by one to find out what plugin is causing this issue if any.

If it dose not work even after deactivating all plugins, please switching theme to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty and then try again.

In case, the issue is still there then you please check your debug log of the server and let me know if you see any errors in the debug log. If you are not sure, then you can contact your hosting support to get the error_log and any error from this plugin.

Thanks and I really appreciate the patience and help to troubleshoot this issue. Once, we know what and where the issue is we we will be able to figure it out.
