Hi @chill4,
Please double-check that you’re looking at Google Analytics results that include today. I just tested the contact form at the bottom of your homepage and it is sending the data to Google Analytics:

Also, please take a look in these locations:
- Realtime > Events and you should see events from the past half hour.
- Behavior > Events > Overview and you should see a “Contact Form” line item (make sure the date range at the top of the page includes today).

Dear macbookandrew!
First of all, let me thank you for looking into this so quickly. That is very, very kind!
I am totally aware of the real-time views. But nothing is happening there, neither “live” nor in the “30 minute” view.
I have another plugin “contact form database” saving the data into database and I also use Flamingo. Is this a problem?
Is this it a problem that I am having various pages? I am using a plugin that sends “scroll depth” to Google Analytics, too.
What else can I do, please? Should I send you any login data?
Your help is needed and very, very appreciated.
Thank you,
AnDee!

(I did not mean “various pages”, I meant “various forms”)
@chill4,
None of those other plugins should make any difference, or the number of forms you are using. It is sending the data correctly to Google Analytics, so I’m not sure what else to suggest other than double-checking that you’re looking at the correct account, date range that includes today, and goal settings.
Do you see anything at all under Behavior > Events > Overview?

Dear macbookandrew.
Wait a minute… I see “Events” under Behavior > Events > Overview.
But I need GOALS. Did I misunderstand anything?
Thank you so much for helping me!

@chill4,
Please take a look at the Installation instructions. Step 3 has some details on setting up a goal.
Note that there is a typo there that I will fix shortly…in sub-step 8, Action should equal “Sent” rather than “Send.”

Dear macbookandrew!
Thank you again for your help and effort! I finally managed it to work. ow, here is my question: I have 4 contact forms, each one on every language page (English, German, Franch, Italian) and I need SEPARATE goals to do that.
How can I manage this with your plugin? Isn’t there only one event fired?
Thank you very much. I really hope that this is possible!
Thanks from berlin,
AnDee!
Great—glad to hear it’s working.
Unfortunately, it currently don’t have support for customizing the event labels. I can think of a couple of options that might help you though:
- In Google Analytics, look at Conversions > Goals > Goal URLs: since each language appears to use a language-based URL structure, this might work
- Set up a “View” in Google Analytics for each language site, and set up the goal on each view
Hope those suggestions help!
I’m marking this as resolved since the plugin is functioning as expected.
