When trying to send a test contact form I am getting "Sorry, email message could not be delivered." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. It has been working for a year, and all of a sudden it stops, and it gives that same error. Don't know what happened...

    Hello,

    Please follow instructions below:
    1) Please check plugin's settings '/wp-admin/admin.php?page=contact_form.php'.
What to use? => try Wp-mail
    2) It is possible that email messages are detected like a spam on the
server. Instead of administrator 'email' choose another 'email'('Use
this email:' block) - for example, gmail account or similar. If the
message will be approved (it will be sent), then you've an email
    filtering configured on your server.
3)Have you get notifications about new users registration? If not,
perhaps you didn't configure email sending. Then You need to install
an extra plugin called WP-mail-SMTP and configure it.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,

I'm having same problem but neither option (php mail or wp-mail works). The only time it works is if it's sent to an email address that was originally registered when I setup wordpress. If I change the email address for Admin to new one, it doesn't send the email and comes up with same error message, "Sorry, email message could not be delivered." :/ I tried to send it to a different users as well but no luck. The only email that works is the original one. :/ Any ideas please?

    Hello,

You should install an extra plugin called WP-mail-SMTP and configure it. Afterwards you should send a test email from this plugin and you will see if the plugin logs have errors. If these are some problems, you should fix it.
Also please check that WP-MAIL-SMTP settings of sending will be the same as on the settings page of our plugin, such as The user's email address:" and "What to use?"

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

Thanks for the helpful post. 1 and 2 worked for me like a charm.

For those of you using Bluehost, I used the instructions at http://aldrin.aquisap.info/2012/08/26/wp-mail-smtp-in-wordpress-hosted-by-bluehost/ to configure WP-Mail-SMTP. Everything is working well.

    I'm using WordPress 3.7.1.
