I think I messed up after upgrading to WP 3.05. Every post or page on my site gives:

Sorry, but you’re looking for something that isn’t here.

I realize I must’ve accidentially overwritten one of the index.php files, but I can’t figure out which one that causes this to happen.

The one in /wordpress or the one in /wordpress/wp-content?

I haven’t made any changes to the database, so I don’t see why that should be the problem. The only changes I made, was upgrading from 3.04 to 3.05 affecting a couple of index.php files.

That doesn’t matter. Have you checked your database?

    Now I have…sigh

    And?

I can’t see the posts through admin. “Can’t find any content”, even though it shows “371” posts have been published.

I tried to find the wp_posts through phpmyadmin, and do see the database there. SO something must be wrong.

Are there posts in the wp_posts table? Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Ah, thanks a lot!

It must’ve been the Nextgen Gallery database update that caused the problems. Once I had disabled that plugin, it all worked again.

    Thanks again!
