• OK, I’ve used Contact Form 7, Caldera Forms, Ninja Forms, form builders within page builders, Gravity Forms, WPForms by Beaver Builder, and probably a few others along the way. I have found that, BY FAR, the best form builder plugin to use when your client doesn’t want to pay for a form builder plugin is Forminator. It’s the most full-featured plugin, for the lowest price, that I’ve ever seen or used.

Not to single out Ninja Forms, but just by way of example, it pretty much matches or surpasses Ninja Forms feature for feature, and you would need to throw in $98 worth of Ninja add-ons to give you stuff that Forminator already has, like Stripe integration and conditionals.

And when I had a recent issue with Stripe integration on my form, I got a response within 24 hours, and a solution almost immediately thereafter. That level of response is atypical for most WordPress plugins, paid OR free.

I can’t say enough about how much Forminator gives you in the base package, and yes, this is a shameless plug (although I have no affiliation with WPMU Dev or Incsub), the folks at WPMU Dev do have a lot of other stuff that is worth checking out.
