I am inconsistently getting the error:
Something went wrong while saving your form.

I created a from from scratch and it auto-saved until it didn’t.
I cleared cache. I deactivated all plugin except Forminator and changed the theme to Twenty Twenty-Three. I reinstalled the plugin.

I copied an older form. Successfully changed it. Renamed it and started over. I deactivated auto-save I Published/saved after adding or moving fields. Again, it worked – until it didn’t. I have just repeated the steps above and am still getting the error.

I reactivated all plugins and theme. Went back to the form. Moved one field and it saved. I moved 2 fields; clicked Publish and the error returned.

Please help. I’ve invested a lot of time in this form. I tested it and everything that is there works, but now I cannot save any changes consistently.

Hope you are doing well today.

It appears your issue is related to your hosting firewall, could you please open your browser and share the errors from console logs while you can’t save the form?

This can help us better understand the issue, but I believe a firewall is blocking the form requests randomly. If you find a 403 error in your console error logs I would recommend contacting your hosting provider to review the server logs and fix the issue.

Thanks for getting back to me. Per your instructions I viewed the console error logs. It is a 406 error. Error and Header screenshots are here:

If you need any other information let me know. If I need to go to my hosting provider, could you please be clear on what I need to ask them to do?

Hello @fiberlyone

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, as you can see in the console logs, the error is clear, your hosting firewall is blocking the forminator saving request, which could be due to form fields for example, if you are using HTML, your hosting firewall may block the requests.

To fix this, you need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist the forminator admin ajax requests. Its a false positive blockage. There is not much we can do about this problem as it is related to your hosting.
