@goingawesomeplaces Yoast 14.0.1 was just released. Please see if this hotfix solves your issues. If not, please provide additional details of the problem, like errors from your PHP error log and/or steps to reproduce the issue.
In case it helps someone – I still had the problem with 14.0.1
The only related entry I could find was this line in nginx’s access log
"POST /wp-json/yoast/v1/indexation/posts HTTP/1.1" 403 178 "https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_tools" "browser string"
I was using Firefox 56.
When I switched to Firefox 75 the indexation started and completed successfully.
Tried with FF 75 on another site that had the same problem with FF 56 and got another success.
This was the response to the 403 in Firefox 56’s Network tab – code: rest_cookie_invalid_nonce
I updated to 14.0.1 and this resolved my issue. Thank you for fixing this so quickly.
For everyone else with this issue, hopefully future updates will resolve your problems!
Try this with a different browser

For me, update 14.0.1 fixed the error.
@sergey2020 @goingawesomeplaces @reekes Thanks for confirming the update to 14.0.1 corrected the issue for you.
@carmano @websicherheit @waye1234 If you update to the most current version of Yoast SEO version 14.0.4, does this resolve the issue? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/
