 * I’m building an online shop and events calendar for a friend, using the ‘MayaShop’
   theme and ‘The Events Calendar’. I’ve installed and configured it no problem,
   and even created a few sample entries, but something odd is happening with the
   CSS though…
 * On the ‘Events List’ page, the text etc is crashing up against the edges of the
   theme – like this: [http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/events/](http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/events/)
 * Same on the ‘Month’ page: [http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/events/month/](http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/events/month/)
 * Same on the ‘Day’ page: [http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/2014-11-22/](http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/2014-11-22/)
 * On the ‘Single Event’ page, the top section of text is also crashing up against
   the edges of the theme, but the lower section is formatted perfectly – looks
   like its indented/padded by around 40-50 pixels: [http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/event/carlisle-craft-show/](http://www.necklaceofraindrops.co.uk/event/carlisle-craft-show/)
 * I’m not a CSS genius, so any thoughts on how to fix these issues, without affecting
   the rest of the theme CSS, would be greatly received?
 * Many thanks in advance…
 * Dave

 * Howdy Dave,
 * I’m not at all familiar with the Maya theme so I don’t know how much help I can
   be here and this is pretty much a shot in the dark but you might try to Navigate
   to Events -> Settings and click the ‘Tools’ tab – play around with those settings
   and see if that gets your display more like you like it.
 * [Here’s a screenshot](http://cl.ly/image/1j1P0A2K1p2f/The_Events_Calendar_Settings_%E2%80%B9_Just_another_dev_site_%E2%80%94_WordPress.png)–
   you might try the settings indicated if they’re not like that already.
 * Hope that helps. Have a great weekend!

 * Hi Dave,
 * Thanks for your post. Will’s suggestion is good and I recommend you try that
   first (although note that the Display tab is what you’re looking for, not ‘Tools’).
   If that doesn’t help, you will need to do some customizing.
 * As outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds
   of customizations. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful

 * Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!
