Something still fishy with order/order by

    Hi Dan

    I second another users quirks with order and order by…

    Problem: The order selections made in the visual editor isn’t always reflected in the generated shortcode. It appears to me, that if for instance, the default order is “ASC”, and the shortcode looks like this (with order “DESC”):

    [dg order=”DESC” attachment_pg=”true” paginate=”true” new_window=”true” fancy=”true” ids=”2446,2613,2447,2445,2443,2444,2442,1336,1321,1303,1299″]

    … and I enter the visual editor, chooses order “ASC” and save then a) the order=”DESC” is STILL in the shortcode (aka not removed) and b) I’ve experienced multible order=”DESC” in the shortcode…

    It appears to be related to selection options already set as default in the configuration. I experienced similar issues if order by title was chosen.

    Hope this makes some sense to you. Otherwise I’d be happy to provide you with a login or a screencast..

    My workaround is to enter the shortcodes by hand. That seems to work fine.
