Some widget drastically increase page loading time

    Hey guys!

    I’m using Betterdocs pro version and have about 90-100 categories (archives) and about 500-600 knowledge base articles (docs).

    I’m happy with loading time of a single page which is about 1.2-1.5s with cache. But…

    When I try to use BetterDocs Category Grid widget, page loading speed increases to 5.5s

    And with BetterDocs Sidebar widget it goes up to 8-9s

    I already debugged all the plugins and other widget, when I delete exactly these, loading speed is just fine (1-1.2s)

    Can someone help me to fix it, find some setting or suggest a solution (idk like separate all the categories using query and load them after each other or something like that)

    Regarding your query, Thanks a lot for sharing the details. I really appreciate this. With 90-100 categories and about 500-600 docs the speed issue is usual. But I have informed our Dev Team already about this and add this as an improvement.

    Since the speed issue is usual and I am actually paying customer, can you maybe provide with some deadlines for this issue?

    I really don’t wanna provide bad service for my clients as well and. I need to know if it’s gonna be solved soon or we just need to start looking for another solution.
