  • Hi Martin,

Greetings and thanks for your questions! Sorry for the slight delay here, I actually thought I followed up over here after we replied to your email about this!

I’ve mentioned more about the translations via that email, meanwhile, there’s not a built-in way to integrate with Moodle. It’s definitely possible with custom code though.

Sorry we don’t have a built-in feature for that integration right now, but if you let us know more specifics about how you’d like to see that done, we’ll gladly look into it. 🙂

    How does that sound?

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi

Yes, thank you. I got the response.
I had a look at your translation tool, but I am quite scared of the Wpmudev policy of subscription, even if you may not buy anything or only need something small, which I may be do not quite get.
Anyway, we are testing the free version & tried to translate some portions using Poedit into German, which I hope is compatible. Using Poedit (free) has worked in other cases I have tried for other plugins.

The files where uploaded to /wp-content/languages/plugins as cp-pt_de_DE.mo & cp-pt_de_DE.po, which I hope is right, but could not see the translated strings in spite of clearing cache.

What could I be going wrong?

Regarding the Moodle connection, still trying to find out exactly what the lady wants.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey there Martin,

    How are you doing today?

Can you try placing the .po and .mo files into /wp-content/plugins/coursepress/languages and also make sure to select German as your language in WP admin panel in Settings >> General.

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Cheers,
    Bojan
