 * Hello there!
 * It’s been almost a month since I made my site and, yes, it does receive a minor
   traffic. But as a starting point, it seems good. There’s a con with that too
   though. It’s just that the only traffic I receive is through my huge community
   on Facebook (with over 18k fans).
 * I’m trying really hard in the direction of getting my site a good rank on Google.
   And so far, I’ve successfully completed a few important steps:
    1. Installed
   Yoast’s SEO plugin and customized it to my best. 2. Uploaded my Sitemap into
   Google and Bing (and I keep checking them regularly). 3. Concentrating on the
   few most important keywords of my site.
 * But these steps don’t seem to be really working that well. I still don’t get
   to view my site at the top or on the first page or even in the first five pages
   of Google search when I type my site’s title.
 * Here’s my site – [WWE IN & OUT](http://wwe-in-out.neq3.com)
    All I want is a
   few tips that could help me. Someone who could send me his/her Yoast’s setting
   would be really thanked by heart. All I want is help!

 * It’s not really about tweaking some settings. You are trying to rank in a fairly
   saturated segment. You have to compete with the big boys.
 * You need a lot of well written, high quality content. Focusing on SEO itself
   won’t get you anywhere. You need content that makes people want to come, and
   return, to your site.
 * You also need to steer your FB community to your site. That’s where the success
   will be. Do your site posts crosspost to FB automatically? There are plugins
   to help that. How do you work to try to bring people from FB to your site?

 * I agree with Rev. You’ve done a great job getting regular content up there but
   one month is not enough time to gain enough traction.
 * If you want to rank well quickly, one suggestion is to focus on a sub-niche.
   So rather than all of WWE, maybe you focus on a few wrestlers, on events, -OR-
   on spoilers. Just pick on area instead of being so broad.

 * Thanks a lot for replying.
 * [@rev](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rev/): Yes, my posts do get automatically
   posted on my Facebook page. That’s where my original traffic comes from. And
   I do update my content every day.
 * [@gabe](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gabe/): There’s a lot of sites that
   don’t actually stick to a single topic but still get there on top. For example,
   you have 24wrestling.com
    and many others.
 * One point I agree with is that one month isn’t enough. So, okay, I’ll wait for
   some more time. In the meantime, if you guys (or anyone else reading this) can
   help me out, I’ll really be thankful to him/her.
