Do you have any other search related or caching plugins active? If you do, you could disable those one by one to try and narrow down which may be interfering with my plugin.
In the past relenvassi has interfered with this plugin.
If it is another plugin that is interfering then let me know here and I can try and fix it.

We don’t have any other search related plugins installed. We don’t use relevansi on this site.
We are hosted on WPEngine and we use their caching, but I have purged all caches thinking that might be the issue but it didn’t help.
I disabled your plugin yesterday and confirmed SKU searches don’t work at all without it š
Then today I re-enabled your plugin and all the failed ones we had tested were found.
So it may very well have been caching related. But let me ask, is there anything special your plugin does when activated that might have fixed it?

I am glad your issue is fixed now. The plugin doesn’t do anything when activated or deactivated so sounds like it was the cache.
Let me know if anything comes up in the future.
