Hi, some of my posts are missing on my site. I have updated themes, plugins and deactivated all the plugins and introduced 1×1. Turns out that the blubrry plugin is causing the conflict. Wondering if any one has any ideas, not all posts are doing this only some?

    Thanks!

    Hello @alykate19,

Thank you for reporting a bug with PowerPress. Can you explain how you determined PowerPress caused your issues? Details how PowerPress made posts go missing are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

    Hi Thanks Angelo,

I am really not sure I guess thats why I am here. I know as I have done the elimination with the plugs and every-time Blubrry player is switched off the posts return. I know i used to have a issue when I had to enter and create space at the top of the page as the player would not appear, yet this is not the issue this time. The php is up to date and all the plugins and theme. I was wondering if there was a known work around or a setting that im missing for some of these posts?

    Thanks ALY

Can you elaborate on what you mean by “missing posts?” When I look at your site here:
    http://circleofbirth.com/birth-stories/

It looks like all of your episodes are there going back to episode 1. Are you saying the posts are missing from your podcast feed? Or somewhere else?

Hi So, if you look at the latest episode the post is there with the player
    http://circleofbirth.com/e51-why-im-not-celebrating-homebirth-katherine-edens-story/

and then say episode 49 nothing

    http://circleofbirth.com/e49-mothersformidwives-homebirth-consortium-australia-continuity-mothers-supporting-midwives/

This happens for a few of the posts.

Im not sure what you mean all the episodes going to back to episode 1 but the posts that show are working in the player with the correct episode.

So posts are missing in wordpress, thus what Im saying is that the blubrry player is causing some conflict as when I disable the blubrry plugin the missing posts will show up. POdcast feed on iTunes etc is working fine.

Thanks hope that makes sense 🙂

For any posts that aren’t showing up on your site, are you filling out the Podcast Episode box for those episodes:
    https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/using-powerpress/creating-your-first-episode-with-powerpress/

Also, make sure you’re using the latest version of core WordPress, your WordPress theme, and all plugins. If you are, and the posts still aren’t showing up, go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Website >> Having issues? and try the different options in the dropdown menu. Select the first option and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. If the first option doesn’t solve the problem, repeat the process with the other options in the menu.

If the posts still aren’t showing up, temporarily switch to one of the default WordPress themes like 2014, 2015, 2016, etc. and see if they show up. If they do show up, then there’s an issue with your WordPress theme and you’ll need to contact the theme developer for support.

    Thanks Shawn,

Yes for the first part of your response, the posts at one time with the Blubrry player was already working something stopped some of them working, and yes podcast episode box is filled out for all posts.

Did that, showed up with the post only when I did fix except excerpts! Got excited then it went away

And switched the theme and looks like they are ALL showing up with the other theme. So do I contact U-design people? Thats what the theme is. Aly

If switching themes fixes the problem, then the problem is with the theme and you should contact the theme developer for support.

    Hello @shawnogordo,

Did switching the theme fix your issues? I assume sine you did not follow up you are now all set?

    Thanks,
    Angelo

Hi thank you for checking in, I ended up having to go through each post individually and put the short-code for the plugin and that seemed to work. I tried everything and seemingly there was some issue that I could not figure out with it. So have to do new posts with the shortcode now, thanks ALy
