    Hello!

My blog is http://www.lifediywithak.com and I am finding out that certain people aren’t able to subscribe to my blog. They enter their email address in the subscribe box, it says that they have been successful and they should receive a confirmation email, but that email never comes. This particular case that I am aware of was with my brother. I had him try and subscribe 4 times and an email was never sent. What confuses me is that I have people who have subscribed successfully and with his same hotmail email provider. Do you know why this is happening and what can be done to rectify it? I’m just afraid if this is happening to him, how many people am I losing to this malfunction?

    Thank you for your time!
    AK

I tried using the form on your site, and it seems to be working properly. I subscribed to your blog, and you can now see my email address in your subscriber list.

It’s worth noting that confirmation emails are only sent once, so if you previously attempted to subscribe but never clicked on the link in the confirmation email, you won’t receive a new email if you use the subscription form again today.

You can confirm your pending subscription here:
    http://subscribe.wordpress.com/

If you’d like, you can send me an email via this contact form and mention this thread, as well as a few examples of the email addresses that didn’t receive a confirmation email. I’ll be happy to take a look at our email logs to find out what happened.
