Hi, what i discovered was that the images that are being loaded are added @2x at the end. this doesnt happen when Quick Cache is disabled. Something to do with @2x and retina images when Quick Cache is enabled for mobile devices. How can I fix this? thanks
Quick Cache does not add “@2x” anywhere, so it must be some other plugin that is adding that to the images. Are you running the WP Retina 2x plugin by any chance?
No, but i think the theme has it built in obviously because it’s calling for @2x images. but what I dont get is that it happens when Quick Cache is enabled.
The url of blank images all have @2x at the end. for example http://url.com/image.jpg@2x which is why they are not being loaded because that url does not exist on my server.
i have the quick cache plugin disabled for now just incase you are wondering.
I have noticed that when i make a new post or clear cache it works fine, it is only when cache is generated. thanks in advance
What theme are you using?
Ah, that’s a premium theme, so unfortunately I won’t be able to download it and test it against Quick Cache. 🙁
I recommend contacting the theme developer and asking them if the could add support for Quick Cache. If they have any questions for me, I will happily answer them (you can point them to this support thread).
If you have Quick Cache Pro, there is an interim solution: block Quick Cache from loading for all mobile users by using the User-Agent Exclusion Patterns feature.
