Some images looks broken or missing after upload

    I am new to WordPress, I have a local installation of it,
    I was uploading a thousand pictures to media library, works flawless but some pictures looks as broken or missing, even if they are all generated with the same compression from Adobe Bridge, and works normal on other places.

    it sounds like your host is running out of CPU for that task, I would use FTP to find the uploads folder where the images are and upload them again manually overwriting the ones wordpress uploaded for you.

    Also do a “ping” to the website and see if there is any packet loss could be a problem with the server or your ISP

    Resolved, the problem was with special characters (French Accents) in the files’s names.
