Some help with the loop, please?

Hi there!

I’ve got a problem with the loop.
I’ve read the codex, tried some examples, but it didn’t worked out very well.

I want to have an indexpage with 1 full post (the latest) and somewhere else on the same page 4 titles/permalinks of the last 4 previous posts (excluding the latest ofcourse) .. something you can find @ autohacks.net.

I really don’t know where to start anymore because of all the errors!
Is there anyone who can help me with this?
