I am receiving the following message

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /services3/webpages/o/t/ottawavalleyhandrailing.ca/public/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

I have read previously offered help about making adjustments to folders... however I cannot access ANYTHING because I cannot access my website! HELP!

I'm not sure of your skill level but here is how to fix it.

If you changed your tables prefix just replace the 'wp_' with the correct table prefix.

    1. You need to use phpMyAdmin and locate the 'wp_options' table to edit 'active_plugins'.

    2. Remove the everything between the semicolons that references the w3tc plugin. Here's a screenshot

    3. Rename these three files in your 'wp-content' folder: advanced-cache.php, db.php, object-cache.php

You should now be able to load your admin panel.

@Keith Driscoll: There's absolutely nothing that indicates OVH changed their database prefix; and a novice user does not need to go into phpmyadmin to deactivate W3TC. The error message shown simply says to remove the one file advanced-cache.php. That's done by FTP. See Filezilla and FTP Clients « WordPress Codex.

@songdogtech I was only referring to changing the table prefix within my instructions and shouldn't have assumed they already tried to remove the file via FTP.
