• For the past year I have used a pro photo contact form which works very well for me, can be seen at http://www.choicedj.co.uk. Recently I have had a few clients calling me to say they sent a form in but I never responded, I have still been receiving other enquiries though during this time. I have tested it a few times and I never received the enquiry. I have several valid email addresses I use so I changed it and again when I self test some are not coming through but some are, it seems very random.

In a bid to combat this I downloaded wordpress contact form 7 but I have no idea how to upload the zipped folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory as it advises for installation.

Any ideas or has anyone else had a similar problem ? Obviously I just want to ensure I am receiving all my enquiries

  • Maybe some of the emails landed on your Spam folder?

    To install a plugin
    1. go to your dashboard, then click on Plugins > add new

    2. Near the top, you will see:
    Install Plugins
    Search | Upload | Featured | Popular….

    3. click on Choose File and select the zip file from your computer

    4. click install now button

    5. after it installs, click activate

    Hope this helps!

Thanks, no none of them went to spam, they just never arrived.

I had already uploaded the plug in and activated but havnt got a clue how to edit it as it just shows a lot of code. When I go to customise my contact form the original one is still displaying so don’t know how contact form 7 is supposed to override that and be edited.

been a while since i used contact form 7 — i think you add a shortcode to your contact page or the page where you want the form to show up.
