    Hi –

The organization I work with is using your Gravity form plugin with their Salsa engage API to transfer email addresses from a homepage signup form. Last week, there were 5 email signups registered in Gravity forms that didn’t get transferred to Salsa. I ran 2 test emails through just now and both showed up in Salsa.

Do you have an idea on why the API integration between Gravity & Salsa fails sometimes? I’m trying to figure this out and would appreciate your help and insight!

    Thank you,
    Chris

I haven’t seen this exact scenario before so I’m not sure what’s causing it. If you’ve got any error logs, screenshots, or other supporting information to help our developers investigate, please do send them to support@cshp.co.

In the meantime, I’ll check with our developers to see what they recommend and report back.

    Thanks!

    Hi @mediazombie!

Unfortunately there are so many potential issues (server timeouts, network issues, etc) that it can be impossible to pinpoint from afar. What I’d recommend doing is going in to Gravity Forms’ “Settings” and enabling logging. Save that change, then on the now-visible “Logging” item on the lefthand of the settings page turn all the logging OFF except the logging from this plugin. Leave the logs from this plugin going for a while, until you get at least a few recurrences of the issue.

Once the issue has been captured in that log, send it over to us as described above and we can take a closer look and try to identify the specific issue.

    Best,
    Ben

    Hi @cornershop & @drywallbmb,

Thank you both for your answers.

Ben – I’ll turn on the plugin logging function and check it weekly to see if we can pinpoint the issue. I hope it’s a one-off network glitch, but the data collection will help us narrow that down!

I’ll send any data to both of you for analysis.

    Thank you so much,
    Chris
