Support » Plugin: Download Monitor » Some downloads give 403 Forbidden

  • Hi
Most of my downloads have been uploaded to /wp-content/uploads/2013/10 and they work, some later uploads however are not working and have been uploaded to /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2013/10 instead.

The dlm_uploads folder also had a .htaccess file and an index.html file, is this right?

I have removed both of the files and now the downloads are available.

Why is this happening, it doesn’t make sense?

Same thing happening on another website….after 2 months is this not an issue?

I’ve got the same problem. With every update I have to remove that “deny from all” htaccess.
