• After the new update, in the checkout page there are fields such “Customer Information” and “Payment” which can’t be changed. Since I’m using my website in another language, I’d like to change them and the correspondent message (such welcome back).
The proposed solution they gave me in the forum is to install another plugin in order to traslate those fields, which might be annoying and charge unnecessarily the website.
Hopefully they will implement the possibility to change those fields in order to make Cartflows fully usable and corfotable also for other languages.

Yes in our newest update we added some optional new layouts. We did extensive testing with our users before releasing it, many of those users are also using their website in a different language. Every string in CartFlows is translatable, and they had no issue putting it in the language of their choice.

Once again, these improvements we added are entirely optional for each user.

We also have multiple documents on how to translate the strings.

Unless you are super technical and can manually create and edit translation files in the proper format, just about everyone uses a plugin for translations. It’s not a CartFlows issue, it’s all of WordPress.

If you would like to contribute a translation, we have this setup. We would appreciate your contribution https://translate.cartflows.com/

@wpcrafter thank you for your reply!
Among the optional improvements you mentioned there is also the possibility to disable the fields “Customer Information” and “Payment” which were not present in the previuos version?
If so, how would it be possible to do it? We haven’t found yet a way to make them optional.

    Thx in advance,
    Kind Regards

Its there. I just recorded this video for you so you can see all the powerful options there for the fields.

    You can:
    – Hide fields
    – Rearrange fields
    – Make fields required
    – Make fields collapsible
    – Change the field name, placeholder text, etc

    Watch https://d.pr/v/FcgiOY

Would you reconsider your current 3-star rating for CartFlows? We have done all of this for free, and will continue to do much more.

    Hi Adam,

I suspect a misconception here as I’m having similar issues, not covered by the video you mention.

It’s regarding the actual header of these fields (“Customer Information”; “Welcome Back [name]” and “Payment”) and some of their contents that seem hardcoded into English somehow. I’m also unable to find a way to edit them, including Loco Translate doesn’t seem to pick it up.

The privacy statement at the bottom is also in English despite all of my page being in Dutch.

    Hope you can help,

    Jack

Hi Jack. No these are not hard coded and pull up perfectly fine in Loco Translate.

    Here you can see https://d.pr/i/xeC5u5

That privacy statement is not from CartFlows. It comes from WooCommerce and can easily be changed in the WooCommerce settings. See https://d.pr/i/ruZt1q
