# Some Captions Not Displaying/Help with code

 * Hello. I would like to apologize for the length of this post straightaway but
   know I am trying to be as thorough as possible. I am at my wits end and I hope
   someone can help me resolve this problem. I have the Duotive Three theme. I just
   upgraded and lost many of the customizations. I have repeatedly asked Duotive
   Support to explain to me how they resolved this issue before and have not been
   successful in this endeavor. I don’t want to have to ask someone every time I
   have to make an update. I would prefer to just learn how to remedy the problem.
 * I cannot get the captions to display in some places. You can see that I finally
   figured out how to display them on these pages in modal view:

 * This was accomplished by modifying the JavaScript on the page template.

 * I have tried going into the corresponding pages (as these are technically posts
   attached to pages) to modify the code therein, but I do not see a place where
   I can make any modifications. Admittedly, I am somewhat new to coding. Nonetheless,
   I have scoured through pages and pages including the custom jquery and prettyPhoto
   files, et cetera, and cannot figure out what to do to get these captions to show
   up.
 * Additionally, if someone could tell me how to change the background color of 
   the sliders, I would very much appreciate it.

   all.

 * That’s not a theme we can support here. I’m sorry but the seller of that theme
   really is where you need to go for support.

 * Not a problem, they showed up as blank lines. Which was _really weird_, the forum
   parser limits the blank lines between paragraphs. 😉
