Some advices about the BuddyDrive 2.0.0 upgrade

Hi everyone,

4 weeks ago i’ve posted this topic so that you can test the 2.0.0 upgrade. I really hope most of you did test it and that the fact i received only a few bug reports means i did a great job with this release.

I strongly recommend that you backup your database before upgrading the plugin because i’m changing the way the privacy is set for the BuddyDrive items into this release.

Once you have upgraded the plugin, you should see an admin notice with a link to run a specific upgrade routine. If you haven’t saved your database yet, please do it before clicking on the link to launch the upgrade process.

Did i mention you really should upgrade your database before upgrading ? 🙂

2.0.0 should be available really soon, i really wish you will like the new interface as it brings great new possibilities for the future of this plugin. If it’s not the case, you can still use the old UI by using this filter :
add_filter( 'buddydrive_use_deprecated_ui', '__return_true' );
