I'm not finding any reason for it to not show her normal status updates. My only suspicion is that maybe there's some privacy setting related to third party sites that's limiting her feed. I've looked through the FB privacy settings and I can't find anythat that is obviously the problem and since I don't have a public user profile set up I can't replicate her specific issue.
The other thing to check might be to make sure she has added the app (that the plugin uses) to her account. To check that out you have to be logged into her account and go to the App Settings and look through the list of apps; if it doesn't show the app that's being used click "Show All Apps" and keep looking through the list. If it still isn't there then she'll need to go to the app page and add it and see what happens.
If she were to transition to using a FB page instead of a user profile I expect the problem would definitely go away as all the places where I use this plugin are using FB Pages and not a user profile and they're fine.
