solved my problems!

I have been desperately trying to get the Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin to work, so I don’t have to email my responses to commenters by hand. I could not figure out why my commenters weren’t receiving the notifications they subscribed to. Someone on a forum recommended a different plugin like this one; I chose this because it seems to be getting recent updates. It works great! Finally my readers are getting the notifications they subscribe to. Thank you!
