    hi,

    please is there any solution to work, I mean delete automatically double duplicate image after rename image with Phoenix.

    Hi @igzyy,
    I’m working on a new option to let the user decide if Phoenix Media Rename should create a new filename instead of returning the error, I’ll let you know as soon as I will release it.

    Ok nice,

    that’s new but I have old pictures. If I delete from upload/20** is that ok must also delete from wp_post table?

    Hi @igzyy,
    in short: yes.

    More in detail: if you delete the file via ftp (or similar tools), you have to delete the related post to avoid having inconsistent data in media library.

    Much easier solution: delete the file from the media library: this will delete the file, all the thumbnails and the related post.
