Support » Plugin: Gutenberg » solution in search of a problem

  • Played around with it, and it left me frustrated.

Terrible UI, not intuitive, and incredibly clunky.

It is a real step backwards, and everything seems to take longer. Honestly, it all feels like a bad dream.

As a WordPress aficionado and tech person, if I can’t figure out Gutenberg, how will clients?

It was hard enough to train non-technical people before but with a little bit of work, it was possible.

    Now, I wouldn’t even try.

People invested time, blood sweat and tears into your open source project, which we all love and feel passionate about, and with one move, so much value and positive energy has been destroyed.

Just look at all these reviews! It doesn’t feel like anyone is listening, and is there no level of criticism or negative reviews that matters. We aren’t all wrong, and if we fail to see the value or vision in Gutenberg, that isn’t our fault.

Sorry guys, you took a shot and you missed. It happens.

Return Gutenberg to it’s place as a plugin, and not a part of core. It isn’t ready.

    Exactly!

Well said. Gutenberg as a stand alone plugin would, as it rightly should, crash and burn.
