    Hi,
I have found a great way to completely hide the events calendar with ultimate member. All workarounds work great to hide events using events categories, but struggle to hide venues and organizers in a secure manner and without having to go into every single venue and organizer.
You can achieve this by creating custom taxonomies for venues and organizers (using plugins like Simple Taxonomy Refreshed or Custom Post type UI. You just need to link them to the events calendar existing post type for venues and organizers.
then, you go in ultimate members, settings and access and then activate content restriction with you newly created custom taxonomies.
Now, just use the plugin admin menu editor to create one new menu entry for each of these newly created taxonomies (one for venues and one for organizers), and the following url: https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=your_venue_taxonomy
for your venue category menu link and another one for your oprganizer category.
Now you can add all your venues to a new venue category or organizers to a new organizers category and then enable content restriciton at the category level to hide them form the public.
